SHIPPING POLICY

The Products shall be delivered by Express or Ground courier. In order to ensure the products remain fresh and are preserved properly, and to prevent them from being stored in the courier’s warehouses longer than necessary, TERRA DI SIENA USA fulfills orders as follows:

 

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

Shipments are made Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed between Thursday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday.

During this period, if deemed appropriate by TERRA DI SIENA USA, Products may be packed in insulated containers with ice gel to limit temperature changes and protect product integrity.

SHIPPING METHODS

Express Shipping - FedEx Express Courier (Air) 

  • Estimated delivery: within 48 working hours from shipment confirmation to most U.S. Locations.

  • Express shipping is required for shipments to West Coast states to ensure product freshness.

  • Not available for Virginia and Washington, D.C., as Ground Courier delivers faster due to our facility being located in Virginia.

Standard Shipping - UPS Courier (Ground) 

  • Estimated delivery: within 72 working hours from shipment confirmation to most U.S Locations.

  • Standard Shipping is required for Virginia and Washington, D.C., as it delivers faster than FedEx Air due to our facility being located in Virginia (usually within 24 working hours from shipment confirmation).

  • Not available for West Coast states due to Ground Courier transit times exceeding 72 hours, which may compromise product freshness.

Shipping options will be displayed during checkout based on the Customer’s delivery address.

DELIVERY GUIDELINES

Customers must pay special attention when entering delivery information (house number, name on buzzer, apartment number, building, etc.) to avoid delivery issues.

TERRA DI SIENA USA declines all liability, and the Customer cannot claim damages or compensation for missed or delayed deliveries resulting from errors or inaccuracies in the delivery address provided.

Products will be delivered by the courier selected by TERRA DI SIENA USA to the address specified at checkout.

TERRA DI SIENA USA does not guarantee delivery times listed on the Online Shop or Order Confirmation and is not liable for delays caused by the courier.

 

COURIERS DO NOT DELIVER ON:

  • Saturdays and Sundays

  • National/bank holidays

  • Periods of carrier closures (including summer closures)

  • Days when road circulation is restricted by local regulations

  • Days when offices/warehouses are closed due to local customs or public authority orders

  • Events of force majeure

 

DELIVERY CHECKS

Upon delivery, Customers or their representatives must check that:

  1. The number and type of Products match the shipment document/invoice.

  2. The package is intact and has not been damaged or altered.

Any damage must be reported in writing on the proof of delivery at the time of receipt. Once the delivery document is signed without notation, no claims regarding package condition can be made.

Products can only be delivered to the Customer or a person authorized by the Customer, who must sign to confirm receipt.

TERRA DI SIENA USA is not responsible for delivery delays caused by customs inspections.

 

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping is free for orders over $299 placed by Consumer Customers for delivery within the USA.

In all other cases, shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the method selected at checkout and displayed separately from the Product price before the Order is placed.
