Italy's most Instagram-Famous Sandwich arrives in Las Vegas
It’s almost time for the arrival of All’Antico Vinaio, the famed Italian sandwich shop, to Los Angeles. The Florence restaurant is popping up at Mozza2Go from October 21 through October 27, doing lunch hours only from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until sellout).
And obviously the most tasty sandwich will be with the best Tuscan Salumeria.
We are proud to be in this project with our Tuscan Prosciutto and other salumi. All'Antico Vinaio is becoming popular even in USA. Tommaso Mazzanti, owner of the famous panini shop in Florence, is growing the family business. As Filippo Gambassi, Terra di Siena's owner, they continues the family business but they are bringing all their know-how in the world. The preserve the traditions, the family recipies and the tuscan flavours.
The menu in Los Angeles will include several prosciutto options, a porchetta and ‘nduja cream sandwich, and a classic caprese, among others, with bread baked on-site by the Mozza team.
"Schiacciata -said Tommaso Mazzanti- is, first of all, a very typical product from Florence. It's totally different from focaccia. We can say it is "our bread." It's a type of bread that is salted. It's different from our table bread, which is not salted, so that's also why schiacciata is typical. It's made with ground salt, oil, yeast, and water.  When I was a child, it was a common thing for me to go out and get a schiacciata sandwich with ham."
The best combo ever....Schiacciata&Prosciutto!
That's why the pop up of All'Antico Vinaio in Los Angeles, after New York in June, is gonna be a succes!
